Looking for a good summer read? The Nature Book Group at Brookside Nature Center will meet next month to discuss our first nature-themed novel, Timothy, or Notes of an Abject Reptile. See details below. Please let me know if you'd like to join the discussion and I'll sign you up. Books are on sale this month at the ANS bookstore, so you can buy your own copy! Join us as we discuss Timothy, or Notes of an Abject Reptile by Verlyn Klinkenborg. This beautifully written novel captures the voice of Timothy, a tortoise living in the garden of an 18th century British naturalist. Timothy’s unique insights on humans and the natural world raise many thought-provoking questions for our discussion.
