The South Dakota Discovery Center and the Environment Education Center of South Dakota are pleased to announce the release of a
Framework
for a South Dakota Environmental Literacy Plan. This document provides an outline for schools, communities, agencies, and families so they can better plan their work in developing the environmental literacy of South Dakota’s young people.
The plan was developed with generous support from the Environmental Protection Agency Region 8.
This Framework is a work in progress. While this is the final draft, we do not consider it “done.” We invite your comments and insights.
