Hi folks,

There are a group of environmental education graduate students developing lesson plans around oral histories that have been recorded.  They are interested in having a group of teachers available to them that they could use to review and discuss their plans with.  Essentially, they want teachers in the field, who work with students and standards, to help as sounding boards for the plans they are developing.  They want to create a lesson plan template to use with these oral history videos as well as an assessment template.  They don't expect it will take a lot of time, but they do want to test their ideas with teachers who would be using these kinds of lessons, to make sure they will meet standards and be useful with kids.

Please let me know if you have interested and send me the email address you want me to forward to the organizer of this party!  If you are not interested, and you know environmental teachers who are, please ask them or forward this message to them and ask that they get back to me.
Let's make the deadline Tuesday, Feb 18 (Monday is President's Day holiday) on this.  They are waiting for me to send in the names.

It's a good cause folks!  :)   I know you want to help promote the ELP.  This is a good chance to connect educators to the plan!

Thanks,

Stan Freeda
