Upcoming Community Event

GeoAI in ArcGIS

When: Wednesday, July 27th | 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

In this virtual lunch and learn, David Yu, Senior Data Scientist at Esri will lead us as we explore GeoAI, the intersection of GIS and the latest developments in artificial intelligence. In recent years, AI has become exceeding good at automating decision making, natural language processing and object recognition tasks. Using ArcGIS we will discuss applying deep learning models to help you automate feature extraction tasks for a variety of datatypes, such as nadir/oblique imagery, LiDAR point clouds and vector data. We will discuss GeoAI best practices, when (and when not to) use deep learning, and even how to train your own custom models from start to finish.
