Tom Baker from Esri announced a new "no login required" resource for K-12 teachers and a "Back to School" webinar scheduled for July 31st.  See pasted messages below.  Note:  webinar time is 10:00 am Pacific Time  which is 1:00 pm for most of us on Eastern time.

K12 teachers,

We’d welcome your input on a collection of storymaps selected for use in K12 classrooms.  The collection is approaching 300 titles and is searchable or browsable.  There is both student facing and teacher facing content – and breakdowns by subject area.  You’ll also notice a place to submit storymapsuggestions in the opening paragraph.

Please explore and consider this as an expedited way to discover relevant, no-login storymaps for you or your students.

This is not a “T3G webinar” but we encourage you to attend and pass along – especially to folks new or interested in GIS. We’re focusing on back-to-school with free and easy resources.  Thanks!  Tom
