FREE VIRTUAL WORKSHOP  for K-12 Teachers !

$25 Amazon gift cards for the first 40 NH teachers who attend!!

March 13, 2023

3:30-4:30pm

(Optional Working Session from 4:30-5pm)

Discover the power of Digital Storytelling with Maps using free and easy to use tools.  No mapping experience necessary!

In one hour, we will walk you through how to build your first “StoryMap''.  Learn now to make interactive maps and meld them with text, images, and video to showcase your Story.  StoryMaps also provide an engaging, rich way to teach content.  As an assessment tool, they foster technical skills and media fluency; critical and spatial thinking; skills in organization, ethics, permissions; communication skills - digital, written, and oral; and are tools that support collaboration and culminating projects.

…Plus it’s fun!

Students who complete a Storymap by May 10, 2023 are encouraged to enter their stories to the NH Storytelling Competition!

If you used Story Maps in the past, we will be covering the new StoryMap template and the exciting  new tools that are now available.  StoryMaps are available for FREE to K-12 schools through the ArcGIS for Schools Bundle.
