I led a small group of butterfly enthusiasts around the trail at the
Karner Blue Easement in Concord this afternoon. We only covered the
main road and the one side trail through the lupines. We didn't cover
any areas toward the airport.
Butterflies were slow and not a lot of good flowers for them right now.
The lupines flowers have passed. But we still managed a reasonable
list by the end of the walk!
Silver-spotted Skipper - One cooperative individual that landed on Pam
Hunt's arm and head!

Dusted Skipper - One cooperative individual right near the parking
area. We don't usually see them in this area.

Juvenal's Duskywing - One worn individual gave great looks with photos
of underwing spots.
