I just wanted to let everyone know that a Northern Oak Hairstreak (Satyrium favonius ontario) was photographed today by David Nelson in York County, Maine, for a state record (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/373604625).

Incredibly, nine species have been added to the Maine state list since 2022. This includes two newly described species, which are also attributed to NH: the Midsummer Tiger Swallowtail (https://zookeys.pensoft.net/article/142202/) and the "New England Azure" (https://digitalcommons.unl.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1116&context=taxrpt).

From what I can tell, The Northern Oak Hairstreak has not been recorded in NH, so it should be watched for.
