I spent some time at Broadview Farm Conservation Area today and saw more species than any other visit this summer. Numbers have been terribly low and continue to be, but I did find 15 species. I did not do a count because I covered the area more than once over about 90 minutes, but I was pleased to see the following:
Monarch
Viceroy
Great Spangled Fritillary
American Lady
Orange Sulphur
Clouded Sulphur
Cabbage White
Common Ringlet
Eastern Tailed-blue
Least Skipper
Tawny-edged Skipper
Peck's Skipper
Silver-edged Skipper
Crescent species
Common Wood-nymph
