It's so nice to be back at Broadview Farm. Sometime in the fall they must have mowed the entire area to remove debris and control invasive species. It's coming back nicely, and yesterday they mowed the walking paths. Buttercups and Ground-ivy are blooming all over. I didn't see a lot of butterflies, but I did see some nice ones.
- Clouded Sulphurs 8 (it might have been a few more or a few less. They were moving around a lot!)
- Arctic Skipper 1
- Common Ringlet 1
- Crescent sp. 1
- Silvery Blue 2
I couldn't get photos of the sulphurs or the ringlet - they just didn't stop long enough - but the others are posted in iNaturalist.
