This wasn't an ordinary November day along the coast in New
Hampshire!!!! A cold front will pass tonight, but today, the weather was
like Summer!!  Our car reached a high temperature of 80F!!!  And it was
VERY windy!!  We went out trying to record some November bird sightings
and November butterfly sightings.   Flowers are becoming scarce with the
best nectar sources from Jointed Charlock (wild radish).  Other flowers
included a little bit of Asters, Goldenrod, Dandelions, and clover.

For butterflies, our list included 7 species:

American Lady - 9 (!).  High counts of 4 at Ragged Neck in Rye and 4 at
Odiorne.
Clouded Sulphur - 5
Cabbage White - 4
Orange Sulphur - 2
MONARCH - 2.  One at Little Boar's Head in North Hampton (no photo), but
then a nectaring Monarch at Odiorne Point SP.
FIERY SKIPPER - 2.  Ironically, we arrived at my flowers in Hampton to
find the Landscapers on the garden with all the flowers gone!! But we
checked a garden at the next house down and found one!  Then later in
North Hampton we found a 2nd individual in North Hampton in a vacant lot
nectaring on Wild Radish.  Photos of both, but the 2nd one only an
out-of-focus shot, as it disappeared before I could get a good shot.
These are only the 3rd and 4th records for all of New England on
iNaturalist.
COMMON BUCKEYE - 1 severely chewed up individual in North Hampton.

I got at least one photo of each species as shown on my iNaturalist
submissions:
