Flowers are dwindling for sure.  The Goss Farm spectacle of asters has
gone by and the flower garden has now been plowed under. Remaining
sources of nectar are coming from remnant pockets of asters and
goldenrod as well as wild radish.

Not a lot of butterflies, but still nice to see a few:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Orange Sulphur - 2

Clouded Sulphur - 6

Cabbage White - 2

Monarch - 4 migrating down Rt. 1A in morning.

American Lady - 2 at Odiorne.  One worn, one fresh:

Common Buckeye - 1 at Odiorne.

Gray Hairstreak - 1 at Portsmouth ball park. Incredibly fresh.  My 2nd
latest:

Also a few dragonflies and damselflies:
-----------------------------------------------------
Autumn Meadowhawk - Common at a couple of locations

Shadow Darner - 1 at Great Bay NWR

Spreadwing sp. - 1 at Great Bay NWR.  Not sure on which species (can
someone help?).  No spots on thorax, but maybe still Spotted?
