Things are hopping right now at Karner Blue Easement in Concord. The
hotspot area is the right along the road just past the gate and the
trail to the lower swale to the north of the Kiosk.  The dogbane is
strong right now and the butterflies are loving it.  Lots of fresh
individuals as well.  Our totals:

Edward's Hairstreak - 57!!!  Amazing numbers.  Interestingly, only a
couple were nectaring.  Almost all were in the scrub oaks, defending
territories, fighting and chasing.  The close trail to the south of the
kiosk through the scrub oak was loaded!
Karner Blue - 20+  Lots along the road past the gate.

Silver-spotted Skipper - 9
American Copper - 9
Dun Skipper - 4
Wild Indigo Duskywing - 3 including an oddly marked individual with lots
of white and reduced spots....kind of like a Dreamy.

Little Wood Satyr - 3
Northern Broken-Dash - 2
Delaware Skipper - 2
Gray Hairstreak - 2
Great Spangled Fritillary - 2
Coral Hairstreak - 2.  Both nectaring.  One on dogbane, one on butterfly
milkweed.  For some reason, I had trouble getting a photo!!! :-)
