Pittsburg report

Jane and I went north for the 4th of July.  East Inlet had lots of
butterflies with the usual subjects.  We spent the entire day on July
5th on East Inlet road all the way to rhubarb pond and Jane tallied
individuals.  Gives a rough idea of which species were present and in
what ratios:

White Admiral 196 (not including all the road kill!  These guys just
love to land in the road!)
Tiger Swallowtail 62 (likely all Canadian)
Atlantis Fritillary 28
Long Dash 16
Peck's Skipper 13
Crescent 12
Hobomok Skipper 11
Arctic Skipper 8
Silver-bordered Fritillary 7
Tawny-edged Skipper 6
Northern Pearly Eye 6
Common Ringlet 4
Baltimore Checkerspot 3
Harris's Checkerspot 2
Little Wood Satyr 2
Eyed Brown 1
Dun Skipper 1
