Adding to the increasing number of locations for this species in NH.....
Jane and I pulled over to the side of Rt. 129 in Loudon where there was
an area of wetlands. I saw a Mulberry Wing from the car window!! So we
got out and within 5 minutes we found a couple more Mulberry Wings and a
DION'S SKIPPER! The butterflies apparently were flying out of the marsh
to find nectar. There was a small amount of Purple Vetch at the side of
the road and that's what they were finding!

Amazing how this species has expanded since the first State record by
Mike Thomas in 2022!!
