I've been looking for a White Admiral and finally, I found one in the area where I've been seeing the Red-spotted Admirals. I ALSO found a Red-spotted Purple in the same location - unfortunately, it was dead.
I'm not sure what's happening on the road I've been walking, but on May 21 I found a dead Canadian Tiger Swallowtail, on May 28 a dead Cecropia Moth, and today a dead Red-spotted Purple. It seems pretty unusual on a closed access dirt road to find those leps deceased.
