2025 butterfly wrap up for our Pittsfield, NH yard

Another fun year counting butterflies in our 6 acre yard in Pittsfield, NH 

Added three new ones, 

Dion Skipper

Zabulon Skipper

Midsummer Tiger Swallowtail 

But lost one!   

after further study, discovered that a Gray Comma had been misidentified (it was an Eastern Comma) 

giving our yard butterfly list a net gain of two for 2025. 

Our yard list total now stands at 54 butterfly species. 

Happy butterfly hunting in 2026!
