Visitors:12 including hawk watcher Hal Bush who helped spot some birds.
Weather:Partly cloudy all day, good visibility, light to moderate winds first from
SW then W and NW, 50's and 60's.
Raptor Observations:Black Vultures! I am now ahead of Pack Monadnock in the Black Vulture
category! Once again, most of the activity was during the 10:00 o'clock
hour, then another dull afternoon. Good variety today, first RSHA for this
site, a peregrine directly overhead, good push of sharp-shins, close
kestrels kiting in the wind, still a few Broad-wings around.
Non-raptor Observations:Some fall firsts: WTSP, pipit, Pine Siskin. A flock of 12 bluebird
southbound, 2 BHVI,4 Monarchs.
Predictions:Steady NW wind tomorrow so should be better than today.
