Hi everyone.  I've decided to form a new email group devoted to sharing
information related to butterflies of New Hampshire.  I hope I haven't
duplicated another list, but I haven't been able to find any after a few
web searches.  So I decided to give it a shot. Hopefully I can get this
list working OK, but we'll see!

The purpose of the group is to share information such as sightings,
identification, photographs, conservation, field trips, etc.  The skill
level is for ANYONE to join and post.   I'm hoping to get more people
interested in butterflies and to help all to be able to better find and
identify butterflies in New Hampshire so that we can better track the
current status of butterflies in the State.

Butterflies are the main topic of discussion, but sharing information
about moths and other insects is also acceptable.

The name of the Group is NHButterfly and it's a Google Group and anyone
can join.  At this point, I'm asking that photos NOT BE ATTACHED to
email messages, but rather to use a web service such as Flick to share
links to images.  To view message posts you can visit this site:

https://groups.google.com/g/nhbutterfly

I think you should be able to join the group from this web site. You may
need to be a Google Groups member.  After many years of maintaining a
Google list for NHBirds, I still don't know how Google Groups works!
But there are no permissions required to join.  If you have any
problems, then email me directly and I can add you directly.
