Hi. I have had two cases of conjunctivitis in House Finches- one dead bird and another near blind as I could walk right up to it. I had to shake the feeder to get it off. It could barely fly to a tree. My feeders are cleaned and inside. Bird baths have been disinfected and remain empty. My neighbors who have feeders have been notified.
It is saddening to see it struggle this morning.
