La Waterthrush in Hampstead

Linda and co-hiker Kathe Cussen had a singing Louisiana Waterthrush (“confirmed” by Merlin) in the Hampstead Conservation Area on West Road at 7:30 AM  this morning, a bit early. There are several pairs in this area but the arrival was surprising. But yesterday, after a warm Thursday, a very hungry Pine Warbler was all over our feeders, eating like crazy, as if he too had just arrived the night before.
