A newly minted. family of eastern bluebirds arrived in the home property's yard at about 8:30. With a light, but steady rain falling, four newly fledged youngsters, in varying stages of plumage development, flitted about on the grass and perched on flower pots hoping mom and/or dad would provide some food. Only one adult confirmed present, and he/she was not buying the feeding pleas. All departed after about 15 minutes. I have no bluebird boxes up. Not sure where they nested.
