"Feathered Friday" Coming Up 2022-05-20

[Mascoma Chapter NH Audubon]

The Mascoma Chapter is to sponsor its third May 2022 outing to Union Village Dam Park this Friday, the 20th beginning at 7:00 am. We'll be hoping to record increased species counts for warblers, flycatchers and vireos.

Access to the park is via Buzzell Bridge Rd. which is off of VT Route 113 opposite E.C. Brown's Nursery in Thetford Center. Follow the dirt road through the gate about a 1/4 mile to a parking area on the left.

Walking conditions include a dirt road and grassy fields that have uneven surfaces. They may be damp depending on whether rainfall has occurred recently. Appropriate footwear is recommended.

The event is free and open to the public. All experience levels are welcome. Bring binoculars and/or a spotting scope as you prefer.
