Are the Hinsdale Bluffs still open to the public?

Jane and I traveled west for the last few days.

Yesterday, we visited the Hinsdale area and were attempting to walk out
to the Hinsdale Bluffs in search of insects and to visit this spot where
I had only visited once before.  But when we made the turn off the Rail
Trail, the road was gated and there was a no trespassing sign, so we had
to walk back.   Our meager checklist from the south parking lot:

Is this eBird Hotspot now inaccessible to the public?  If so, I will
change the wording in eBird.
