853 Nighthawks - Franklin Falls

Another red-letter day in Franklin. The count went smoothly until after 6:30 when things got "soupy."  Many birds, hundreds probably, were moving south after I counted many hundreds going north.  I quit at 7:15, not because there were no  more nighthawks, the sky was full of birds.  Instead it was because there was no certainly of countability, so I had to  throw them all back.

Notice how warm south winds continue for at least two more days.
