For many years New Hampshire Audubon (NHA) has maintained an extensive natural history library and been a source of hard to find books and information about birds, wildlife and other natural resources.

Times have changed. The information age has made libraries like ours less necessary. While NHA will maintain a research library with current, science based information about NH wildlife, we are in the process of downsizing our collection to provide that focus. As a result, many books will need a new home.

On Saturday, December 10 from 10-2 at the McLane Center in Concord we will be holding a used book sale to offer nature related books to the public. The sale will include a rich collection of bird guides and reference books, general natural history books, field guides, outdoor recreation guides, nature writing and environmental essays.

The sale is open to all and will occur in conjunction with our annual Holiday Fair and Nature Store sale. The Nature Store will be offering a 20% discount to NHA members on all items, including binoculars. Numerous craft vendors will present their wares and provide demonstrations. Holiday craft activities for children will be available as well.

We hope you will be able to join us for this festive day. For more information visit our website: www.nhaudubon.org or contact Ruth Smith at rsm...@nhaudubon.org.
