Black-backed Woodpecker at Mud Pond in Jefferson

I watched a female Black-backed Woodpecker at Mud Pond in Jefferson around noon on Wednesday. She was foraging in a dead spruce along the boardwalk portion of the Mud Pond Trail. A birder reported two Ruddy Ducks and a single White-winger Scoter on Cherry Pond in Jefferson on Wednesday morning.
