Visitors:109 visitors including Carolyn from Squam Lakes, folks from the UK and 35
4th grade students from Jaffrey Grade School. Despite a pretty slow
migration day, they had sharp eyes and enjoyed watching ravens and retails
play over North Pack. Nice to see Pam and Scott from Walpole.
Weather:The day began with low fog in the valleys but crisp and clear with great
visibility. Haziness increased throughout the day and temps in mid-upper
60's. Light winds from SSW.
Raptor Observations:A few small groups of Broad-wings but overall a quiet day.
Non-raptor Observations:Dark-eyed Junco, Black-capped chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Northern Flicker,
White-throated Sparrow, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Golden-crowned Kinglet,
Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Cape May Warbler, Purple Finch, Red-breasted
Nuthatch, Red-eyed Vireo, Nashville Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Common
Raven
Canada Goose: 20
Monarchs: 1
Predictions:Light NW winds and sun. Could be more productive than today.
