Sixteen birders joined me for a pleasant walk around the Strafford County Complex yesterday. It started with a little excitement as a flock of Blue Jays mobbed a Cooper's Hawk and a Sharp-shinned Hawk which were not too impressed. Subsequently, things were very quiet with nothing particularly unusual. The weather was nice, however, and the group did not appear to be especially bored.
