Highland Springs did a nice job with a video of our performance on August 30. For those of you interested, I have put the video on our website (http://www.nhbdallas.org).

As a result of our Aug. 30 concert, we have had two cases of missing music stands. Glenda Simmons left her stand there, but Highland Springs found it. Glenda, I hope you have retrieved it. Secondly, someone took a stand belonging to Highland Springs. It supposedly is marked with their name on the stand. If you realize you took the wrong stand from there, please let me know and we'll get it returned. Thanks.

With the start of Christmas music in our rehearsal lists, some of you newer members realized last week you did not have the Dropbox link to the Christmas music. Fortunately, only about 4-5 of you emailed me for help, which was not too great a difficultly for me to handle. However, if we were to ever have a situation where 20-30 of you emailed asking for a link or something similar, I would probably be overwhelmed. Situations like this is one of the reasons we have section captains. Your section captain should be able to help you with music links, playlists, event times, etc. If you don't know who your section captain is, ask someone in your section. If no one in your section knows who the captain is, ask me. The section captains are there to help me and you, so please use them. Be sure you have your section captain's email address and phone number. Section captains, be sure you have information available to support your section members.
