Hi Band,
Congratulations, I have heard great things about your concert last Thursday, sounds like you hit a homerun. I had planned to be there and listen to you play, but I didn't get out of the surgeon's office until 2:10 that afternoon, probably just about the time you finished playing. I hated to miss it, but that's how life goes sometimes.
This Friday and next week also Dan will continue to direct us while Lorenzo continues his vacation. Both weeks we will be reading through an assortment of charts from the list below, just for fun. Some we haven't played in quite a while and many some of you may never have played with New Horizons. The flutes will be providing our snacks this week, so let's just have some fun and enjoy playing together.
The below rehearsal list will be used both this week and next. All are either in your playbook or in the Dropbox. If you don't have the link to your section of the Dropbox, please reach out to your section captain to get it. If you can't get it from your captain, email me at the email address below. Dan will choose the order as we play. I suggest you keep the charts in alphabetic order so you can find them quicker.
