Got a TD Banknorth checking account?

Best read that massive document they sent a week or so ago. They are
implementing a $25 PER MONTH service chage for checking accounts!

A truely brain dead move on their part, with other banks continuing to
offer free and interest bearing checking accounts.

Goodbye TD Banknorth, it was fun but I found a new bank and a *much*
better deal.

not learning from the ongoing banking debacle, TD just merged with
another large bank, hence the new fees...
small, local banks are far more sensible.

i'm doing very well. i just bought a 3 gallon vernal witchhazel,
which i want to put on the hill where we took out the stupid Norway
maple (i'm working on eradicating all the Norways). it's probably too
sunny & dry there though, plus getting through the roots to make a
proper planting hole... it's in a bad spot to try to use the backhoe.
i may put it over where i took out the failing Carpathian walnut
instead.
do you know any shrubs that deal with winter winds fairly well? i
want to do something with the front hill facing the road, but it's
pretty exposed in the winter. warms up earlier in the spring than
most areas of the yard as well, so that eliminates fruit trees there.
and then there's the bog...

Hmm, let me think on the winter shrubs. There is always evergreens. Want a
piece of my clethera? That grows anywhere.

More later, I need more caffeine.
