Matt Williams and I will be working on the used lower drive on the outboard this Saturday at 1:30. (replace water pump, change lube and seals, if possible install on motor)
If others are able to and want to come by to unwrap the Jannie Marie, scrape the bottom, tidy things up, install the batteries, tape off & mark the new water line (that motor has always caused the stern to sit low in the water), it will be that much closer to being ready to launch.
It might well be that after Matt and I get the water pump installed, we could install the lower unit to the motor, test, and be ready to rock!!
Rye Harbor Tide info:
this Sat 4/20 LOW - 1:20 PM (someone or 2 people could come by Autoworks, pick up the Aluminum Skiff and oars, put the mooring ball and tackle on the mooring chain)
next SAT 4/27 HIGH 12:53 AM (depending on what was done in terms of painting the bottom and completion of boat prep on Saturday morning, a crew could launch her!)
