Course Outcomes - Participants will:
- Develop an understanding and appreciation for open content and open educational practices
- Identify potential open resources for use in their educational environments
- Create and edit open resources using wikis, Pressbooks, and multimedia
- Apply accessibility and UDL concepts to open resources
- Understand and apply basic instructional design concepts
- Develop a lesson based on open educational practices for use in their classes

The course is intended as a graduate-level introduction to open educational practices. Completing all activities and participating fully in course discussions is expected to require 8-10 hours each week. However, the course is designed to support learning at all levels of engagement. If one hour a week is all you have available, you should still find the experience beneficial and rewarding.
