upgrade to pagespeed latest-stable 1.14.36.1

My site is running pagespeed  1.13.35.2-0  / nginx/1.19.7  - compiled form source using

 bash <(curl -f -L -sS https://ngxpagespeed.com/install) \--nginx-version latest

Now, I wanted to upgrade to pagespeed latest-stable 1.14.36.1 and tried:

bash <(curl -f -L -sS https://ngxpagespeed.com/install) \--nginx-version latest --ngx-pagespeed-version latest-stable

Compiling and installation went fine without errors, but when afterwards checking, the server still report pagespeed 1.13.35.2-0.

So, I'm obviously doing something wrong so if anyone can give me a hint about what's wrong it would be great.

You need to make some changes in the bash script as far as the 1.14.36.1 is not a final release but a RC1.
