Cache and rewrite images loaded via javascript

Im trying to cache and rewrite images which are loaded via a javascript client lib.

Is it possible using pagespeed ?

But the javascript runs begind a html page?

I'm not sure, but if I remember well, images loaded by a javascrip are not optimized by pagespeed,

maybe by IPRO, the in-fligth optimizer part of pagespeed module.
