10/23 NGSO Officers meeting minutes/notes

- let's do Skyzone on Nov 30th 
     - put on NGSO calendar
     - email out NGSO calendar (and GMSSO calendar)

- trivia sunset cantina on tuesday, 12/10 (week before finals), 8pm 
     - put on calendar

- bowling at Sacco's Flatbread, on 1/17, at 8pm - 10pm bowling (those times only)
     - we're reserving 3 lanes for 2 hours is $150
     - will buy everyone 1 drink and pizza
     - friday continues afterwards…maybe Saloon...

- progress about chalk talks? we haven't heard anything

- jon/someone should move on the email migration, we've given up on google but it doesn't matter who

I was talking to Sandi about doing a better job getting the nominees in sooner. She said, she really needs them in the spring. The fault is mine for not getting them in sooner, but I find that Shelley and Sandi are completely overwhelmed February to June. So I asked in those months if I should hurry on them and was told they wouldn't take action until later. Then, what ended up happening was I got them in the beginning of July but no action was taken until late August/early Sept. (Sandi says she didn't see them until then.) So I'll shoot for March this year and see what happens?

That's too bad about the talks delay. I wonder if we started asking people right after SFN, if we could shoot to get it to them mid January? Would that actually even be helpful?
