How does Tuesday evening, 5.30pm, 4/1 (not kidding), in the normal NGSO space, 2 Cummington, Room ??? I forget the room number, it might be 109? sound? We may not need to meet in person, though.

NGSO, like last year, is planning on spending $500 on food, so that CNSO can pick up the tab on drinks. Besides that and the details of what we're ordering...what needs discussion?

I'm happy to meet if other people have items they wish to discuss, but the only two things I need to talk about are the budget and some assistance with food purchasing/logistics.

Does anyone remember if we had enough food last year?  Should/can the budget be increased?  It's hard to tell how many people will come, but if the trend continues, it *could* be 50+ people this time.

Nick James and I have a class from 4-8. Any chance we can move it earlier?

Seems like we should just stick to email for the time being. NGSO especially can definitely contribute to buying more food (raised to $600 or $700) if we want to, and my guess is we will have at LEAST the numbers we had last year, since all the people who went loved it and would have inevitably spread the word. I can't remember how well CNSO budgeted drinks; it may have been perfect for all I recall.

As far as logistics, I live near Packard's Corner and so can pick up any food from the area or drinks from Blanchard's.

Re: drinks--Unless people complain about the general lack of selection, I will just get beer from Costco, since it's a pretty good deal.

Re: food--I wouldn't worry about picking stuff up; just have it delivered, but the ordering/calling, etc, would be a big help.

Hi all,

Spencer, the CNSO will provide $170 for beverages. This does not include Sarah's Scotch; I will talk to her about the allocated money for that and we hope to follow the same format as the last time with people chipping in for the rest of the Scotch expenses.
For the drinks, please also include some wine so we can diversify a little.

Best,
