Hi all,
As you know, our recruitment events are coming up. In the past the NGSO has been great about meeting candidates at the airport, attending the Sunday night dinner, setting up the buddies and also reserving the Cornwall’s event.
The Sunday evening dinner will be at the Elephant walk again. I do not have a final count yet of applicant attendees yet however I anticipate that there will be room for about 20 current students.
I’d appreciate it if Dan or his designee talk with our friends at Cornwalls again about having a post-dinner informal event.
If you can get volunteers to travel to the airport on that Sunday, to meet students, that would be great!
While I do not have the final invitation list yet, I do anticipate the same number of attendees as last year, if that gives you a sense of the volunteers that we will need. Also if you could encourage students to present posters on Monday afternoon, that is always a great way for our applicants to hear about the science here and also to get a sense of the great students that we have.
