Maya crash error

Hi,

today  Maya 2018 began crashing whenever i try to paint weights with NgSkinTools. (see pic for error message)

Any ideas What could be the problem?

sorry for getting back this late.

well, clearly the problem is a bug somewhere in ngSkinTools. Need to localize it somehow.

1. Are you getting any sort of crash log in output window? might give a slight idea what is the issue.

2. Can you try "resetting" the scene?

* Save a copy of the file,

* In ngSkinTools menu "Edit" - "Delete All Custom Nodes";

* Initializing layers again

* Try painting now

also, which OS & Maya version is this?

are you able to send me the scene for investigation?
