Dear All,
In structural geology, we all have read about Normal Faults; which can be defined as a faulting situation when the hanging wall goes down relative to the foot wall. Now if such is the case, have you all ever heard something called as hard-linked normal faults and soft-linked normal faults !!!!!....
It is quiet interesting.
Bellow is the linked to one of our (me and my team) recent published paper that explores that how hard-lnked normal faults act as pathways for hydrocarbon fluid leakage.
Hope you all will enjoy reading the article and also the illustrations.
With kind regards
Chinmoy
