upload/download file/video/images

Hi,

My rest module is integrated with open stack swift module to upload/download files/images/videos.
 
and open stack swift is authentication based, authentication validation is done in my rest module. I have to upload and download large files/videos/images(assume 1GB size) through my rest module.

I have no idea about this. Please guide me or give pointer how to achieve this scenario.
