Thanks for your response. I consider your email below cerebral but grossly misplaced. First stop comparing the US to Nigeria. The US is vastly advanced and their treatment of citizens and those that sojourn in their land is vastly different from how Nigerians treat citizens. An American can go to any state in the Union and, provided he meets the eligibility requirement, run for office in his new state without qualm. In the US, you see two brothers, George W and Jeb Bush run for governor of two different states (Texas and Florida) and won without qualm. Do you see such happening in Nigeria? So my friend, stop comparing US and Nigeria.

Now to the issue under discussion, note I did not attack the story that talked about these criminals. My angst is with how Kola characterize them. He, Kola wrote, they come to Lagos and this is what they do. Who is Kola to question them coming to Lagos. They have as much right as Kola to be anywhere in Nigeria they want to be. Please don't confuse that as me condoning their criminal activity.

Now let me ask you this question: If these criminals are Yorubas, honestly, do you anticipate Kola saying 'And they come to Lagos and this is what they do'? Do you see Kola saying so? I doubt Kola will say so even if we are told they are from Ogun, Oyo or Ondo.
