Teachers inspire us, entertain us, and we end up learning a ton even when we don’t know. Teachers day is celebrated in India on the 5th of September in the honor of Dr.Radhakrishnan. Teachers are said to be the second parent of a child. A teacher plays the role of an educator, guide, guru and a friend. The lessons of a good teacher remain etched in our soul.
Teachers don’t impact for a year, but for a lifetime. Teachers make a lasting impression in our mind. That influence persists beyond school, college and university and becomes the beacon of light, guiding us through the journey of life.
Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one. Teachers are the people who open up our mind. A teacher’s word can be life changing. Teachers inspire us to seek our own path. They encourage us to discover our talents. They continue to instill discipline and good behavior in us. Teachers stand as a role model for us to look upon.
This is the reason why many kids wish to become a teacher. It is an honor to remember those invaluable souls for dedicating their lives to mold us.
One’s life attains fulfillment only when he or she is remembered for who they are and what they did. Teachers have thousands of people who remember them for the rest of their lives. Let us remember the teachers who made an impression in our lives.
