[KANAA] Important update for Members and Moral supporters

Dear Member/Supporter,

As of 30th Nov, 2014 there are 35 members( includes 10 trustees ) and 16 moral supporters joined our trust from 19th Oct, 2012. Out of which only 27% of members & supporters are actively participating in the events & activities that are organized by KANAA.

Trustees of KANAA have framed and proposed a protocol for membership and subscription last year. As per the protocol, details about subscription fees to all the trustees, members and moral supporters was discussed and the same was also shared via mail & its also available in the blog ( http://ngokanaa.blogspot.in/p/protocols.html ). But, till now we have not got any positive response from the inactive members. Some of the members, supporters have not taken part even in a single event/activity ,also they are not responding to the mail threads. So, we have planned to remove the members and supporters who have been inactive for a long time.

The members and moral supporters who are willing to continue as the same should adhere to the proposed protocol immediately. As per our protocol, Members should volunteer in at least two events/activities & attend at least one meeting in a year and Moral supporters should volunteer in at least one event/activity conducted by KANAA. So, the members who joined before Jan 2014 should volunteer in atleast two events & participate in atleast one meeting. We have fixed the deadline as Jan 26, 2015 for the confirmation of KANAA membership.

There will be two visits to Dharanee Illam (as a part of Manidham) in December & January, We will be starting the activities related to Aathichudi by the month of January, in a school so at least two weeks of session will be done by January 26, 2015. Our 6th blood donation camp will be conducted as per plan and we will also have a progress meet ( first quarter,2015 ) post blood donation camp, by the end of December or in January we are planning to conduct an ad-hoc meeting to update the progress of the blood camp.

Thus, around 7 events & 2 meetings will happen within January 26,2015. Those who are willing to continue as a part of KANAA should adhere the protocol and follow the same else they will be automatically removed from the trust. Members, who are willing to continue as a part of KANAA should also pay their outstanding subscription fees as per the protocol (with effective from May 2014).
