Hello,

i'm not shure if this is the right forum for my problem. But maybe you can help.
I wanna use nginx with rtmp module as a mpeg-dash packager. I have to use the akamai CDN to publish my streams and for mpeg-dash i need to push these prepackagized streams with http to akamai.
Is it possible with http_push_stream_module?

Thanks for your time,
Florian

Hi Florian,

it can be done if you can set some code on akamai side to start the connection to push stream module and store the package when it receives the message.
The push stream module does not start the request to a client or to another server.
It only propagates received messages to all connected clients.

Regards,
Wandenberg
