unable to run nginx clojure on linux

Hi,

I use Linux 64 bit as listed below

2.6.32-696.3.2.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jun 7 11:51:39 EDT 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I have downloaded nginx clojure binary nginx-clojure-0.4.4

But I keep on getting the error

jvm may be mad for wrong options! See hs_err_pid****.log for detail! restarted 2
2017/08/02 09:55:32 [alert] 25443#0: worker process 25470 exited with fatal code 2 and cannot be respawned

my nginx.conf is very simple. I am using the default one with no jvm option selected.

jvm_path auto;

Please guide for the resolution if someone has faced this issue before
