Retrying requests with nginx-clojure

Hi,

I've been playing with nginx-clojure and I'm trying to implement custom load balancer basing on spring example

Is it possible to write custom retry mechanism with currently supported directives?

I tried to use this, however nginx clojure doesn't seem to support it.

Load balancing example is based on rewrite handler

hence my question about retries.
