!DOCTYPE html> Welcome — 27th International Families & Fathers Conference

Welcome to the 27th International Families and Fathers Conference — The Next Generation

Welcome to the 27th International Families and Fathers Conference — The Next Generation. My name is Dr. James Rodríguez, MSW, and I serve as the President and CEO of the Fathers and Families Coalition of America. Often, we send news alerts to share updates about our international conference, leadership training programs, public policy initiatives, and opportunities to join us as members or affiliates. This year, I am especially proud to announce that we have added three new affiliates in Houston, Utah, and Washington, D.C. However, today I am reaching out with a special purpose — to share our program outline for the 27th International Conference and to extend a heartfelt call to action: I invite you to review it and join us by securing your super early-bird registration.

We have worked hard to keep our fees modest without sacrificing quality. At a time when costs are rising everywhere — travel, lodging, and daily expenses — we have collaborated with partners to ensure our conference remains accessible. For just $375, our super early bird rate includes full access to three days of programming, a film festival luncheon, and a closing dinner celebration, along with dozens of workshops, keynotes, and networking opportunities. New this year, registration also includes access to our Wellness Oasis, a restorative space designed to support mind, body, and spirit.

And that's only the beginning. You'll also have the opportunity to add on specialty credentials: the OAR Leadership Institute, the Nurturing Fathers Program Training of Trainers, the Certified Fatherhood Facilitator, the AI-Led Family Engagement Practitioner Certificate, QPR Suicide Prevention Training, and our own FFCA DiSC Training of Trainers — a class I personally love to teach. These are life-changing programs that you can implement in your agencies and communities with immediate impact.

Every day of the conference carries a theme and a heartbeat. On Day One, Embrace & Evolve, we'll begin with phenomenal keynotes and then move into carefully curated workshops — no more than six per block, so you'll never feel overwhelmed and can choose sessions that matter most to you. On Day Two, This One Moment, we'll gather for transformative morning keynotes and conclude the evening with our Men-to-Men and Women-to-Women Cafés, spaces for honest dialogue and connection. On Day Three, Beauty Within Practices, we close with wisdom, healing, and extraordinary inspiration.

I am deeply moved by the diversity of this year's presenters — voices from Puerto Rico, Australia, Canada, Europe, and across the United States. Together, they represent the tapestry of our nation and our world: First Nations leaders, Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, and allies, all united in the same purpose — to strengthen those who work daily to uplift children and families.

In a time when our world feels divided, this conference is about building bridges. It is about preparing the next generation of leaders, practitioners, and advocates to make our communities better places for all families.

I could not be prouder of our team — our executive fellows, such as Dr. Alicia L. Jackson (Florida A&M University) and Thao Vanessa Tran (Ditox, Inc., Melbourne, Australia), our volunteers, staff, and board of directors. Above all, I am proud of the presenters who are bringing their expertise and talent to Los Angeles for this unforgettable event.

This is my open invitation to you: evaluate what we offer, compare it to other conferences, and see for yourself. With modest pricing, unparalleled diversity, and a truly global network of professionals, the 27th International Families and Fathers Conference is the place to be.

But don't wait — our rates will increase, and the hotel block is already filling up quickly. Sign up for the Super Early Bird rate now, as it is your moment to register, to reserve your spot, and to join us in Los Angeles for The Next Generation.

With gratitude and anticipation,
Dr. James C. Rodríguez, MSW, CASDC
President & CEO
