Hi all,

I have a xFrame application using CDI and EJB 3.1.

Is it possible to integrate nFlow there? If yes has anyone experiences with it?

THANKS in advance

Hi,

I have no experience in any xFrame applications but if you can use Java libraries and have access to some RDBMS then it should be possible. Can you elaborate how you are planning to use nFlow?

Hi,

we are currently looking for a workflow engine to replace the in Java written flow with it.
The feature from nFlow sounds as the one we want ... orchestrating steps (some can be done automatically some needed human interaction). Also the explorer looks pretty well. So we decided to implement a poc with nFlow how it looks in real life not just in pictures.

From the architectural point of view we would use it as an embedded engine. So I just added the nFlow-engine.

Yeah embedding the nflow-engine only sounds like a good idea for the PoC. If you want to try nFlow Explorer, you can set that up as a stand-alone instance, see nflow-jetty (or nflow-netty) modules for examples. You just need to configure it to use the same DB as the embedded nflow-engine, and disable the workflow processing in that instace.
